Object placement

Post by pfgreig »

Folks...a couple of questions relating to ver 17....what is the difference between an 'image' and a 'picture' when inserting?.
Also, being new to this, (I have recently returned to WYSIWYG), I am having a issue understanding object (Text or image) placement...for example I might insert an image on my website page and insert some text below or close to it, while the layout looks ok but when I 'Preview' the page the text, or image, might be on top of each other.
I accept that there will probably be a tutorial which describes this clearly but the ones I have viewed so far appear to be more aimed at more um, 'clued up' readers.
Some direction would be appreciated.

The difference between an 'image' and a 'picture' in explained here:
https://wysiwygwebbuilder.com/picture.html

If you use absolute layout, then the images and text should be placed exactly as on the workspace.
But you may have use conflicting settings. It's difficult to help you without seeing what you have done.
