span unique id

I'm guessing this is a stupid question, considering I've been using this software in fairly advanced ways for years...
But I missed when this began happening: <span id="wb_uid2">
I don't understand why Web Builder is generating unique span id's when I've defined a class and I find I can't override the span id's with custom css applied to the div or class even using !important - which I know, isn't best practice anyway.
What am I missing here? I'm sure I've just missed something obvious, right...?
Thanks...

The unique is genned when inline styles are moved to the global style sheet.
This either happens when you are using breakpoints (because inline styles are not responsive) or the option 'Optimize inline styles' is enabled.

Yup... optimize/move inline styles to style sheet - that did it.
I have a feeling the last update may have changed my default setting for this, no? :P
Oh well... fixed now. Thanks !

I believe you. I must have inadvertantly changed the preferences for a different website. I figure the prefs are not saved with the project.
