Why do you change the file structures on new versions?

Pablo,

Each time you come up with a point release (15.2, 15.3 etc.) I open an older site and get the message that the file structure has changed and it's no longer compatible with older versions.

Is this truly necessary? I am keeping each version (15.2, 15.3 etc.) in a different set of WBS files, just in case I need to revert back to an older version and I'd rather not.

Cheers

Alan

When new features are added, the file structure changes because extra data needs to be stored.
Since older versions do not understand the new data, it's not possible to load new project in older versions.
