Once more, testing for SEO, the strong recommendation is to remove page extensions. I see there is an option to do this in WWB but with the associated warning 'Only for the experts' - If I remove the extensions within WWB what is the worse that can happen?

Well the skies will darken the dead will arise and walk the earth for eternity...apart from that then you won't be able to view your pages or navigate through your site. Your can also do the same with a .htaccess file which you should be able to get help from your host to install. Also note for this to work your host must be running Apache or have it enabled. If unsure you will need to contact them to find out but in general if they are running PHP then is usually enabled.

More information about this option can be found in the help.

Note that we cannot assist you with server sided configuration.

To be honest, from what I've read and from what someone from google has said in an article I read, removing the page extensions has no effect on seo.

Thankyou all. Will take that as a no then - onwards and upwards! There are only 4 Trug Makers (genuine Sussex trugs, not crap imports) of which I am one, it's just a personal mission to be ranked above them!
