Bullets & Fonts for text

Post by lpug »

Hi all,

My standard text is open sans light, I've noticed if I bullet any text and preview it the font changes to the standard open sans font with the bullets.
When I go back to design view my font is definitely open sans light. After applying the bullets and then removing them the text in preview mode still displays the open sans font and the only way to reset it is to change the object output format back to default from "use <p> tags supports bullets and inline images.

So my question is there any reason why I cannot have open sans light font with bullets?

Thanks

The text editor used by WWB is standard Windows functionality. Unfortunately, I do not have control over how this functionality works.
I did consider not adding bullet support at all, but in the end I decided to include it anyway for those users that that find it useful. Even though it may have some limitations which are beyond my control.

Thanks Pablo, so what I'm experiencing is standard windows editor limitations? Is there an alternative beside changing my font?

Alternatively, you can use the 'bulleted list' object.
