Page Header/Footer inconsistent positioning
WWB14. Using a Master-Frame, the Page-Header and Footer do not maintain constant positioning. Previewing the MF by itself , everything is in correct position, however when you show a page that utilises the ContentPlaceHolder the Page-header/Footer misaligns to the right, even to the point of truncating the info on the right. The centre of the Page-Header almost appears to align to the center of the CPH. The CPH is set to the right edge of the MF page.
Re: Page Header/Footer inconsistent positioning
Hard to say with only the description you've given. Can you provide a sample project so we can see your settings?
Re: Page Header/Footer inconsistent positioning
Thanks for the reply. How do i send a sample project?
In brief, what i have done just using default settings and a basic setup.
Index page, width and height say 300 x 300. Allow masterframe true.
Masterframe page, Content place holder say 400 x 400 ( eliminates possible overlap for this excerise.
Put some text to show left and right outermost boundries in both Header and MF body, outside of CPH of course.
Page header, set alignment to center.
If you preview MF by itself all is in order, perfectly centered.
If you preview from the index page, being the normal view, the page header is now some 3 inches offset to the right of where it should be.
i have tried all sorts of settings in properties for the page header, flexbox, masterframe page etc but nothing prevents the pageheader from being offset to the right by about 3"
thanks.

sorry to be so vague.
Re: Page Header/Footer inconsistent positioning
I'm sorry, but the link does not work for me.
Are you sure it is correct?

Re: Page Header/Footer inconsistent positioning
The problem is your index page is only 626px wide in default but your page1 (MF) is set to 970px. Your breakpoints should be the same from page to page. Set your index page to 970px and it fixes the problem
Re: Page Header/Footer inconsistent positioning
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
In summary, any pages associated to a MasterFrame MUST be set at the same width.
Or is it essential for all pages to be a standard width, even if not associated to a MF.
Thanks again.

Re: Page Header/Footer inconsistent positioning
My suggestion is to keep the page widths and breakpoints the same from page to page.
