Layout grid improvement suggestion

Pablo,
Here's what I consider inconvenient when working with columns in layout grid.
Example: I have layout grid with 2 columns. I filled them with content but at some point decided to remove left column and its content.
I go to layout grid settings and click on left column, then I click "remove". But it does not removie left column, instead right column is being removed. In order to achieve my goal I have to manually copy content from right column to left column and then remove right column. Could You, please improve adding and removing columns method? Or perhabs I am missing something here?

This is intended behavior. Because otherwise the internal structure of the layout grid (with references to embed objects) would get corrupted.
