Nav bar

Post by crownfield »

I have multiple nav bards.
I now rename them for where they are, so the names are distinctive.

on one, I changed the text.
low and behold, the web builder shows the change.

even more low and behold,
the nav bar on the published web page
is not the same. how could that be?
"see video options" is correct, but does not show on the webpage, only in the builder.

<div id="NavigationBar_video_options" style="position:absolute;left:193px;top:337px;width:584px;height:27px;z-index:8;">
<ul class="navbar">
<li><a href="./Options.html"><img alt="See Video Options" title="See Video Options" src="images/img0038_over.gif" class="hover"><span><img alt="See Video Options" title="See Video Options" src="images/img0038.gif"></span></a></li>
</ul>

Did you make sure the names are valid?

not positive when I changed a nave that I did not put a space in.

the renaming only started when the whole site was imploding. til then, builder assigned the names.
after deleting menus and then recreating them and assigning word names using _ that things started to clear up.

I believe that copy and not changing the name to something
really unique like navbar_live_events
has caused about half the problems with builder.

sorry, no.
I had only time to remove and replace flaky objects.
It took several hours, until the last ghost connection was cleared.
