password recovery

Hi I have inserted the password recovery widget but cannot work out how to setup the email section so that when a user enters their email address for password recovery it sends the email?
I have my sql database setup and the redirect to my success page works but the user does not get the email with a new password?
can anyone help please

The exact email settings depend on the configuration of the server, so only your web host can give you the correct email settings.

Did you try with the default settings first?
Are there any errors?

I am using wamp server at the moment to check the database and redirects etc so I don't know if that might be the problem??
Will the email work if I have everything running through wamp server?

If that case you will have to configure wamp server yourself to enable php mail.
Unfortunately, I cannot help you with the configuration of the server.
