scaling breakpoints
Hi Pablo, very confusing for working with the breakpoints. Going from default to the next breakpoint 1024 etc all the way to 320. The only thing it does is scaling the page down. I must overlook something. Do you have a tutorial. Thanks
Re: scaling breakpoints
Tools -> Options -> General -> Automatically scale new objects
Please see the help for more details about this option.

Re: scaling breakpoints
Even if i have taken off Automatically scale new objects, it will still show me the page is scaled into the 1024. Going from default into 1024.
Re: scaling breakpoints
This is what works for me.
I have automatically scale turned off.
I create my page in the default breakpoint (n my case 1280).
I then look at the next BP size and move/resize things manually. When it looks OK, I move to the next BP down in size. What I generally see is that each BP down shows the layout of the previous one.

Re: scaling breakpoints
Then I guess you need to share the project with Pablo to see what's wrong

Re: scaling breakpoints
Did you recreated the breakpoint after changing the option?
The option does not affect objects on existing breakpoints. it only changes the behavior for new objects.
Also note that if you uncheck 'automatic scaling' then it will work the same as in previous versions.

Re: scaling breakpoints
Hi Alan, thanks for your reply. I did exactly what you wrote, but still end up with a viewport in the 1024 that is scaled. So i can't scale it myself...

Re: scaling breakpoints
Hi Pablo i don't know what you mean by recreating the breakpoint.
Re: scaling breakpoints
I am not sure if I understand you correctly
What do you mean by:
"I still end up with a viewport in the 1024 that is scaled. So i can't scale it myself..."
What do you see and what did you exact to happen?
Why can't you scale objects yourself?

Re: scaling breakpoints
It still looks like a enable the automatically scale? So a see a viewport that is scaled. Thats why i can ajust it to my needs. But don't worry i am going to take a break, and hope it will give me a clear vision aftherwards. Thanks for thinking along with me Pablo.
Re: scaling breakpoints
Automatically scale object, will resize the object based on the breakpoint size (relative to the default view). It still looks like a enable the automatically scale?
It does not scale the viewport, it only affects new objects.
This is a new feature in Wb15. if you want it to work like in previous version then do not enable this option.

Re: scaling breakpoints
Hi Pablo, if i go from one breakpoint to another and if i resize the text manually to fit the viewport than the backgrond off the text is no longer transparant but give me a white backgrond. Aldo i set the text to transparant in the properties. I cant seems to resolve this issue.
Re: scaling breakpoints
It seems to work correct for me.
Can you share a demo project so I can see all your settings?

Re: scaling breakpoints
I don't know how to do this while my project is not publish't yet. I am still in designing mode.
Re: scaling breakpoints
You do not need to publish the project to your website.
All I need is a demo project, which demonstrates the issue.
I need more information to be able to help you.

Step 2
Add a text object
Step 3

Do you see the problem?
