Printing of www pages

Hi

Since changing both of my web sites to Web Builder I have received at least five complaints that whole or part pages are not printable by end viewers.
Text, drawings and photos all overlap each other in the printing and make it totally impossible to be readable or usable! But appear correctly on the screen of the PC.

I haven't personally had any such issues with other web sites I have visited and these always print correctly if required.

Is there a 'fix' for this serious problem somewhere?

Below are the same part page viewed top image as the page is constructed in Web Builder and the bottom image as viewed from the Print page option in the browser. BTW I have tried three different browser all with the same results - All on Windows PC using Google Chrome, Opera and Firefox.

As constructed in Web Builder....

Lastly as seen on the screen of the PC..

First note that the printing is implemented in the browser, WWB has no control over how the layout is printed. So, there is nothing I can do to 'fix' this issue.
However, some browsers have issues with absolute positioned elements and printing, because these elements cannot be scaled.
Flexible layouts usually do not have this problem.

A common workaround is to create a printer friendly (flexible) layout with text and images only.
