Google has come up with a very use tool to check your sites if you do not have all the physical devices to check your site.

Nice work Zinc! :D

Up until now, I've been using the Firefox Ctrl>Shift>M facility - but that's not always definitevely reliable - will be interesting to see how this goes - don't appear to have a 1920 - but I guess not needed if you are on one! :D

On that note let add this one also by google - device size in px: https://design.google.com/devices/

Be sure to look at the height / width by dp (not in, cm or px) to see if your breakpoints will fit.

^Thanks for posting! :)

I also found this two part video presentation "on designing for mobile and across devices" great if you have time to watch (first part is 1.19 long) http://www.lukew.com/ff/entry.asp?1949 published by Conversions@Google

Another link on device resolution stats - http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_display.asp. My monitor is 1600x800 (20") & traditionally I use 1260, 1024, 768, 480, 320. I think I may add 1900 to the list for that next size up monitor - but I still like the wider gutters. 50-100px. Wierds me out to see the content go right up to the edge.

Interesting stats Rob and thanks for posting. My desktop monitor is an Asus VE278 (27.8" diagonal) with a 1920 x 1080 HD resolution via HDMI from the System Unit.

Yes, I use 1920 as my top BP, also a 1366. I also use a 980, but I'm considering dropping that BP.

Oh, and I agree - other than BGs and images, I don't like to see text go edge to edge.
