This extension is based on
Simon Battersby's Vertical Scrollbar using jQuery UI slider.
Vertical Scrollbar is a tool to have a DIV area with a scrollbar that allows customisation of the div panel and scrollbar with optional easing effects.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
[a] The script uses a jQuery file from the googleapis repository (jqueryui/1.8.14/jquery-ui.min.js") which is a later version than supplied in WWB therefore you cannot use other jQuery elements on the same page.
Only ONE instance per page is allowed but there is an option to have multiple instances by calling in pages with the extension via an inline frame.
Demo's available from the Aditerum demo site.

A brief heads up.......
I've stated in the help file and elsewhere that this extension has a jQuery conflict issue but in fact it doesn't. I've been liaising with Scott (SUB5) and he's worked out that the problem is actually a jQuery THEME ROLLER conflict. As I understand it you can only use ONE theme in any page so as soon as you attempt to use something like the WWB jQuery Accordion or Tabs etc the extension breaks. Other jQuery objects or routines will work OK with this extension as long as they don't use themeroller.
Apparently there is a fix for this but it will require some research - unless someone has a solution I can introduce to the extension?
One way to over come this themeroller issue is to place either the jQuery themeroller object OR the extension on a separate page in your projects and call that page using an iFrame. Consider that a temporary solution until I find the coded method.

hello adendum.
i'm really sorry, i didn't see your post, 10 minutes ago i added a custom scrollbar extension.
i hope you won't get offended.
what i tried to do is an extreme lightweight extension and i think is a different product although can achieve almost the same target...
my apologies again, if you feel something wrong, i'll delete my post with the download link.

I think the two of you made some great scrollbar extensions.
Maybe between the two of you, create the one I pointed out in the suggestion thread.

No problem RZ. Two scrollbar extensions are probably better than one!

Limma,
You just need to adjust the settings in the property Panel Styling>Margin at the top of each item and set that to ZERO.

Try using minus value, like -10
