Captcha problem

Post by Michal »

Hello,

I have a problem with Captcha.

When I set the number of letters for more then 5 i.e. 8, the picture showing letters are too short to display all of them.
Always only 5 letters are visible.
Changing the property of width picture length - no result, still 5 letters on picture, but they are wider.
The problem exists since WB 11, which I upgraded into 18.2.2 yesterday.

Regards
M.

Hello,

In the example project the problem is different, the text box is placed bottom the captcha picture, and is 3 times longer.

The link is:

I have tested your form, but it seems to work correct.

Where exactly do I look to see the issue?

Hello,

It looks bad on my site.

https://abc123.pl/kontakt_test.php

Should I delete any files coming form older versions of WB before publishing by WB 18?

Are any PHP version problems, what versions are supported ?

Regards
M.

If you upgrade to a new version then you will need to re-publish all files. Otherwise the server may have a mix of old and new files.

The captcha also seems to work on your website?

WB18 supports PHP 7.x and PHP 8.x

Hello,

On this test page, the input text field is located bottom the picture.

In design both are placed in one line.
I don't know why it is wrapped into 2 lines after publication ?

I tested the real form after pushing all files into server.

https://abc123.pl/kontakt.php

The all 8 digits are visible now, but the input text box is located like underline the picture box, is bigger then in design time and has different colour.
I set no wave, rotation and shadow effects too, but they are ignored

The colors of the captcha are random, so they will never be the same as in design mode.
The input box is aligned at the bottom. This is behavior by design.
As far as I can tell the captcha character are rotated and use wave effects.

This is what your page looks for me:

This is how your page looks in the software, using the project you have shared:

Hello,

Thx, the problem is solved by clearing all web browser cache and offline files.

Could you delete the screen shots from previous post ?
