Tab problems

Post by edgrodsky »

I use Tabs on many of my pages. Initially setting it up is not a problem along with placing objects or controls within a tab. However once that is done it is almost impossible to edit them. The program does not allow one to easily select the object. It also is impossible to select a tab other than the first one. I dread have to make changes to any of my tabs and their contents. I end up have to move every object out of the tab and then placing them back in. What am I doing wrong?

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

For further details about how to share a project file, please see this FAQ:

Any resolution on this issue? I am having the same problem.

UPDATE: I had tabs setup (Tabs at top) inside a flex container with the margin on the tabs set to Top:40. In preparation to submit a modified project to be reviewed for help, I removed the margin by setting it back to zero. Once I did that my tabs became editable again. I will go back and try this in my main project and will update my findings.

UDATE2: I went back into my main project and only removed the margin, from 40 to 0, and changed nothing else. The tabs became editable again.
