Bootstrap Mega Menu - Swap column acts different

I have a master page with the Bootstrap Mega Menu. The menu is in a layout grid with two columns. There is a logo in the left and the menu in the right. Customer wants to swap the logo to right. If I drag and drop (swap) the columns for the logo and menu the drop down of the menu is behind the website below. If the menu is in the right column (original design), the drop down displays over the rest of the page as expected.

What am I doing wrong here?

What so I need to do to see the issue?

Also, when you share a project can you please remove all elements that are not relevant to your website. So I do not have to spend a extra time to install unrelated extensions and it's immediately clear where I need to look?

Why not just drag the menu and the logo onto the page (not in a layout grid) and then drag them back into the other cell of the layout grid?

RESOLVED

sorry about project. i left the extensions there in case they somehow caused a conflict.
I stripped everything off the home page except one layout grid with two text objects.
I deleted the logo entirely from the master page. if the menu was on the right it worked, on the left the drop downs hidden behind the index page text objects.

I relooked at the layout grid on the master page where the menu is located. the right column had top and bottom padding of 20. the left column had no padding. i added the same 20 20 to the left column and all works as expected.
