changing link style to a gradient style?

Post by nortonz »

I created a nice gradient style for my menu item, but I can't figure out how to change the hover to a gradient style, only a solid color. How do I select the gradient style?

Regards

What menu are you using. I think most menus do support gradient it on the background option.

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

For further details about how to share a project file, please see this FAQ:

Maybe I didn't ask the question right. In the "edit style menu" to select a color for a say hover. So in "Style Manager" you can create a "Gradient Style". I did that. Now I want to use this Gradient style for a link mouse Hover. So how do I select that gradient style, it doesn't show up in the menu anywhere.
I mean what is the Gradient style for if you can't use it for a link color? If you go to my existing site ''http://www.electraink.com and look at the menu at the top of the page, just hover over the menu item "Home" and you can see the hover effect. That's what I want to do in "Hyperlink Style menu" only use the style I created in the Gradient Style menu. How do I do that?

Truely depends on the menu you are using with custom styling anything is possible but as we said you have not given or shown us your project, if given could have helped more deeply.

Try downloading this and see if it works out for you. Its basically a pack of gradient buttons for navigations.

If you want a menu with gradient item then then you should use a menu which supports this.
For example, the themeable menu. If you set the background mode to 'multi-color gradient' then you can select your gradient style.

If you need further assistance then please share a DEMO project so I can see what you are trying to do.
