Mixed content

Post by nexgraphics »

Hello!

I just moved one of my websites to a new server, and installed the SSL , the lock and everything else shows fine. However I am getting a "mixed content" warning from this site: https://www.whynopadlock.com/results/2a ... d35ca69559

The hosting company told me its probably because the site files are http and not https. I know how to fix in W**dPr**s but not here, also I have an older version 11.6.5.

Can anyone tell me how to fix please, have 6 m ore sites I need to move and will probably all have the same issue.

Thank you!

Your hosting company is correct. You can make the change by writing a 301 redirect with a .htaccess file. As this is server related you should contact your hosting provider for all help with this as it is unrelated to the use of the software in anyway.

Please note as previously mentioned in a past thread by yourself WB11 is no longer supported anymore.

To fix the errors you will need to change all http links to https.
You can do this via the Link Manager.

Note that version 11 is no longer supported.
