Hi,
I verifyed my latest site via Gooble search console, got that html file for validation and uploaded that file via ftp to the root.
Everything ist fine.
Sometimes I clean up the complete webspace facing the possibility to delete some files, I want to keep. That's life.
So I got the idea to try to drag and drop that google html file direkt into the WebBuilder projekt ... it is now incorporated and part of the site and will be uploaded.
Are there any circumstances I don't recognized not to do so?

Re: Google search validation by html file
What type of file did you add?
Shouldn't the Google validation HTML be part of your normal pages?

Re: Google search validation by html file
Hi Pablo,
It is a file named like;
googleefd123456789.html
containing plain text
google-site-verification: googleefd123456789.html
and is to place at the root of the site.
(I have changed filename and text accordingly
)
This file I dragged and dropped to the site manager and the upload seem to be fine.
...
The procedure to generate that file:
https://search.google.com/search-consol ... about-page
...
In former times I did the upload of that file manually, but this way is much more comfortable.

Ok, in that case it should be no problem.
