***SOLVED***WWB v1602 Manually added icon font error message - won't load

Hi, I have just upgraded from v15 to 16.0.2
testing functions I have found a problem.

Icon fonts, I have all the font awesome etc provided plus the extras (drip etc) these all work ok

I have also manually added another called Icofont, this works fine in v15, but when selected in 16, and then click on 'Select icon', I get the following error message "Encountered an improper argument"

Please note this library has about 2100 icons.
Is the library too big? do I need to make it smaller? Or is there something else I need to change to allow it to work in v16?

For me it works the same as in WWB15.
Also, there are no changes to this functionality in WWB16.

Hi Pablo the icon libraries added from your link here all work ok.

I manually added the icons from here https://icofont.com/
which i had working fine in v15, but in 16 do not work

as well as the css and json files required to run it.

Have you read following

Adding custom icon fonts
The font files should be placed in a sub folder of the \Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system\iconlibraries folder.
Besides the fonts files, the folder should also have a json file which contains information about the icons in the font in order to properly name the icons.

It is WORKING fine in v15

YES it s a true font with all the true font formats eot ttf svg woff woff2
Yes its installed in the correct folder \Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system\iconlibraries folder.
Yes it has the JSON file
Obviously this was all done correct otherwise it would not have worked in V15.

it still works fine if I use v15, but does not work in v16

Any other ideas?

So when clicking "Select icon" you get the error-message? Right? You are not able to choose any icon-font as I can see... or after dismissing the errormessage, do you get the list with all the other icon fonts? Is the "Font awesome" active as you open the "Icon font" tool?

yes you are correct, once i dismiss the error, all icons for this font do not display, if i switch any other font all works ok

i have all the icon fonts you provided, i added these as there was a few i needed for a project.
I can only assume that there is no syntax error in the json file as the same file is used on my version 15 and works fine.

The JSON file works for me.
Maybe the folder is protected, so WB16 cannot access the folder?

Further testing reveals the following

i uninstalled my WB16 (64bit) (purchased)

Tested manually installed icofont

• wb 15 (32bit) - works

Installed wb16 (32bit)

• wb 16 (32 bit) - works

Uninstalled wb16 (32 bit) and installed wb16 (64bit)

• wb 16 (64bit) - does not work

Any ideas?

empty list of icons appears
select ok
error message reappears

this does not happen on wb15 or wb16 (32bit)

It looks like you have used a different name.
On my computer the font name is 'icofont' instead of 'Ico Font'.

In that case, there seems to be a conflict between the filename and the internal name of the font.
Please check out my version and make sure the naming of your files is the same.

I did not realise that since my original instal of these fonts manually that you had since added these and other to your extras page.

I have uninstalled the font and reinstalled using your installer, and they work fine.
