@face-fonts

Post by Joel »

Hi,

Why WYSIWYG is closing every time when I try to view or publish if I select any option apart from TTF in automatically @font-face? I get a message 'WYSIWYG has stopped working'.

Maybe you have used a font which cannot be converted?

You mean anywhere in the project? It allows SVG fonts on their own and I can select any other format as long as I also select TTF.

But when TTF is selected, it dis-forms some fonts which otherwise look ok.

Unfortunately, not all fonts cannot be converted automatically.
In that case, you will have to look for another font or do a manual conversion.

I find it the best practice if you do this yourself manually. It is the safest option. Use this site:

I've been trying to do the manual conversion all day today, without success.
I understand the fonts I want to have need to be downloaded to windows or windows/winSXS?

After the conversion you will need to install the TTF font on your system then WWB (and other applications) can access it.

As Pablo says -
1. Download the font and install it locally as WWB needs it to display your project correctly if you are using the font.
2. Use this site (similar) to create the other formats.
3. Via WWB program option, in the font section select the font (which should be installed first).
4. Add the other format fonts that you have converted via this site while you are in the project.

Hope this is clear.
