upload files from WEB

Post by multiplone1 »

hi, I would like to suggest a change to the program:
insert the possibility to upload files from WEB, I think for example from Google drive, or from web applications of the various NAS manufacturers.
p.s also loading from a network harddisk is to be speeded up (to be fast enough, you must always connect to the network folder from the resource manager

You can save your projects anywhere you like.

I already do this. When I publish, I send it to a local NAS drive. This is a synology box with PHP and an Apache web server - so I can test it out before it goes live.

Once I'm happy, I then use FileZilla to connect to the same local drive and upload it to my real host.

I also save the project (and associated files) to another NAS area. This is then automatically copied to a remote system and also uploaded to my OneDrive (remote) by Synology processes.

You know you don't nead to use a 3rd part ftp. You can use the inbuilt publishing tool in WWB.

Yes, I do know that. But if I do that, I have to have two upload profiles for each web site (I manage 4 or 4). It's just as easy to use FileZilla to do the final upload once it's been tested.

I prefer to keep it separate - it works for me.
