Using Blocks and embedded page.

Post by pekajo »

Hi,
I have just found the Blocks after many years using WYSIWYG but am having issues with the Page / masterpage.
I've setup the masterpage with header and footer blocks with Content Place holder. However when I add text in the index page both the header and footer are at the top of the page with text on the index page overlaying both. I feel I am missing an important step somewhere. I cannot find how to add images to this post to show you.
I think my question is how do I get the text on the index page into the Content Place Holder of the embedded masterpage.
Thanks for any help
Peter

To be able to help you with this can you please provide a url so that we can view it and then provide you a answer. Or please provide a copy of your project so we can view what you done. When doing so remove all extension you may have used or manually inserted code.

How do I share my project to get help?

Most Blocks use layout grids, which means that the layout is flexible/floating.
Although I cannot see exactly what you did based onthe HTML code only, it looks like you have used other part is your layout that are not flexible so this will overlap with the floating layout.

Please see "How to use Master Frames with Layout grids?"
