responsive email

Post by mrwillow »

Hi,

This question is beyond the scope of this forum, but you guys are always so good I am hoping someone can give an answer.

I want to put out a general email, marketing my business. Working the basic tools I have, I set up a new email in MS Outlook 2007, and within this insert > table > 1 column + numerous rows; then centre. Within some of the rows I place a JPEG, in others I place text (basically, I design to taste). Now, testing the received email in my PC browser, the Safari browser on my iPad, plus the email app on my Xperia mobile, it does seem as though the email generally is responsive - which is excellent. However, on the mobile the JPEG is not displaying, except for its outline plus an icon within top-left indicating that the image is 'broken' (or however best phrased).

Two questions. One, is the email's general responsiveness, as reported above, satisfactory (as it seems to be)? Two, what to do to get the JPEG to load automatically?

Thank you,

DC
