Hi again,
Should applying a style to a text object via the format-->styles method, rather than selecting the same style class in the drop-down on the Properties Inspector panel, give me different results?
I ask as that is what is happening on my system.
If I create my own style in styles manager and apply that style to a text object via the format-->styles method, everything works as expected.
However, if I try to apply the same style to a text object via the Properties Inspector Panel-->Class drop-down, then the resulting preview displays incorrectly.
Please use the link below to see an image of what is happening here...

... the first box was created via format-->styles method, the second via the Properties Panel Class drop down.
Am I misunderstanding, thinking that these two methods are supposed to do the same thing?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Properties Inspector Class Option Question
This option is for selecting Style Manager style.Should applying a style to a text object via the format-->styles method
This option is for adding custom classes (for advanced users). This option also accepts style manager classes, but it is mainly for adding custom code.Rather than selecting the same style class in the drop-down on the Properties Inspector panel
In case of the text object you should get the same output unless you typed the wrong style name.

Hi again,
In regards to the 2nd text object in the image, I just selected the class name from the drop-down menu on the Properties Inspector Panel.
I did not type anything anywhere.

Re: Properties Inspector Class Option Question
Thanks for the file.
The problem is related to the specified font size. This size is applied to the text's container.
However, all the text itself has a different font size, so this causes a conflict.
The class is applied to the text container, not to the characters.
To apply the style to the characters, first select the style and then select the style from the style dropdown.
