Flexgrid Alignment Misteries

Post by MorningLight »

Pablo, I'm facing a real problem here:

1- Preview shows flexgrid in a way but website (Chrome) shows another way. See below

2- When I publish *only* the page being seen at the moment, everything goes OK but ALL OTHER pages with Flexgrid went wrong...
When I publish the ENTIRE WEBSITE, the same page as I mentioned above goes wrong, while others go OK and wrong...

3- Since I started with a Flexgrid Template I got here, all pages has a <HTML> defining :

<style>
html
{
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
}
body
{
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
}
</style>

Is it really required to Flexgrid?

I'm loosing a lot of time designing and after fixing thar Flexgrid behaviour - it shows differently depending of the kind of publish and between preview and LIVE...

I tried to change configuration to "Generate External CSS Style Sheets for Page Specific Styles".

No better results at all...

There is most likely a conflict in your global styles.
To be able to help you I need to see what you have done.

If you share a demo project then I will look at it after the weekend.

Thanks Pablo.

But now I have a doubt: how can I have a conflict among "Globals" ?
I mean, isn't it just one file?

Hmmm.... it really explains the fact of preview and single-publish be different from all....
I will investigate it.

Some pages have the code I mentioned above (HTML and BODY 100%) and others no...

For example,. if you have used different breakpoints in style and pages.

The 100% code is required for full height layer or grids.

Thanks Pablo, it was I imagined really...

Pablo, I saw something really interesting here. See the below image:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WkO3A ... jCx9BuhkPi

Follow me please:

1- You are seeing two Flexgrids: one with Text and Image, another with the downarrow.

2- When I open this page initially it appears as above (I mean, open it without any click on the page).

3- If I don't click over these flexgrids and publish the entire website OR if this page IS NOT OPEN before to publish, I have the alignment problem.

4- But, if I click over each of these flexgrids, they re-align normally and if I publish the page/website it goes 100% right. See the image in Editor after I click over the Flexs:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1s-MZVb ... uJ3KW/view

5- The fact of click over these flexgrids do not cause automatic realign of any other Flexgrid I have in page - I need to scroll down the page, clicking over each flexgrid to realign them.

So, I understand the problem is caused by the fact of many times I open WB and other pages but NOT these specific pages (it occurs in all pages I have images with text within a Flexgrid).

Would be this the reason of the problem?
