Footer showing up behind main content

Post by Smee »

This is only happening on one page . . . and only in the 480 and 320 pixel versions of the site. The footer has a layout grid with text inside. When viewing the page in either 480 or 320, the layout grid does not align properly. It slides up behind the flex grid on the main page.

I cannot see what you have done based on the HTML code. I need a demo projetc to see all your settings.
But do you mean that you have added a layout grid inside a footer object?
This is not correct. A footer is for absolute elements only.
However, a layout itself can be also configured as a footer.

Pulled the offending pages out of the project, saved as sample.wbs

Thanks.

First note that you are not using the latest update. I strongly recommend to install the latest version 15.2.1

I need more information to be able to help you,. Where exactly do I need to look to see the problem?
Also, can you please share the images of the page, because now all I see when I load your project is an empty page with place holders.

The page entitled "sports1" is the offending page. I included the master page as it is causing the problem.

Preview the page "sports1" at 980 or 768 and everything is fine. Nothing overlaps.

Preview the page "sports1" at either 480 or 320 and the footer content is behind the lower flex grid. It should be below, not behind the flex grid.

Will do the update after I post this reply. Thanks for the reminder.

I think the problem is related to the 'fixed' height of the flexgrid.
If you use a fixed height then the layout is not longer flexible and the height is determined by the height during design time.
Please set the height of the flexgrid to 'auto'
