Floating Layer

Post by LTH » Mon Apr 24, 2017 9:56 pm

I think I already no the answer but thought I'd ask anyway. What I'm trying to do is have a css menu about 300 pixels below the top of my page. I'd like to have it stop as it reaches the top on scroll. I know how to do this on a static page but is it possible on a responsive website? Thx in advance.

are you using the Affix option of the css menu ? if so why do you not try it with breakpoint ?

That would work but I need the black background color to extend the entire width of the page. That's the reason I was trying to put it in a layer.

Take a look here http://www.firstbaptistlc.org/. Scroll down and see how the menu stops when it gets to the top.

ok use a sticky layer put your css menu on it . place the sticky kayer where ou want him to be first.

sticky layer - center top, delay 0

relative horizontal sizing and keep original position until layer

make all other adjustment you want color etc on the css menu and on your layer .
