invisible page header still occupies space

Post by piotrh »

Pablo,
I have page header object mode set to "floating" and then a layou grid. I have one breakpoint. In breakpoint I'm turning off page header visibility. Despite of being invisible page header still occupies space at the top of my page, not allowing my layout grid to go to the top of page. How to fix that?

No, I just dargged and dropped objects as they are.
Here is WWB file showing this:
ilustracje.org/page_header_sample.wbs

I added 300px padding to top of layout grid to make it visible in this example.

I can confirm Pablo that if you simply insert a page header and then a layout grid below and then hide page header in a BP, the layout grid does not go to the top. You cant see the page header but the space is still there for it. Hiding the page header in the default view but not in a BP hides the pageheader in all bp's.

Thanks for the demo project.
I will investigate if this can be improved in a future update.

I'm happy to help.
This is offtopic here, but please investigate also text shape extension. Under WWB12 32bit it works fine. But 64bit version of it under WWB14 64bit makes the program to shut down. I'm simply draging extension to my page. Then when I double click to modify properties – WWB crashes.
