Free template: Minimalist modern

Post by filmphotog »

Free WYSIWYG Web Builder template: Minimalist modern

I made a template in similar design as my other themes. Perhaps someone is interested in using this template as a start and continue to modify the page.

Terms of use: Free

Extensions needed: Smooth Scroll 1.0.0 (by Pablo Software Solutions)

No licensed images were used, the pictures were taken by me last weekend and are free to use.

Responsive Web Design

- 5 breakpoints, 320 480 640 768 970
- Startpage and 5 additional pages
- Master Frame is used for simplicity (two master frames because of different links in the menu)
- Activate social media links in the Image Map properties

Fully functional demo

Template for download

Hope this template is useful, thanks.

I think this template would also look great with higher contrast images.

Hi,

Just a quick question, why do you have two master frame for this template?
Buy Automation Shopping Cart for CMS WEBSHOP + 2.2 Using WB10!
- Use secure gateway to buy using PAYPAL website.

Hi, I use two master frames because one is for the start page with direct links ./gallery/ etc. The second is for pages in the folders where you first has to go up one level ./../gallery/

Thanks!

Hi,
Another question, have you consider making video tutorials on how you make some of your templates? Doing this we will be able to give you more creditibility for work.
Thanks.

Thanks, yes video tutorials could be very helpful. I can think of many topics: Which breakpoints to choose and how to implement them, Master frames, Layers and breakpoints, How to first set up WWB with object snap and show object outlines etc. I often start a template with a blank sheet. I'll look into what software is needed to record videos.

Right now I see a large demand from small (1-2 person) businesses to have a fast, simple, page show up in mobile search. Just a single page with company history, products, addresses, phone numbers and references. I'm using the free template mwd (viewtopic.php?f=50&t=69298) and many are interested, a bakery, a daily office cleaning, a truck owner, a beauty saloon, and alpaca wool craftswomen etc.
