Unable to activate through corporate proxy

Post by ittech »

Hi! We are having an issue activating our licenses through our corporate proxy, has anyone else come across this?

Have used Wireshark to see whats going on and it seems that WYSIWYG does to even attempt to use the proxy...

Can browse to this page - https://wysiwygwebbuilder.com/wwb17/wb17status.php - without an issue

Has anyone got any ideas?

Thank you!

I doubt that this has anything to do with the software in general. It sounds more like a issue with your proxy server blocking the connection to the activation server of the software. I would suggest that you allow/give permission to the proxy at server side level by adding the software to its white / safe list and try again.
If you haven't already read from the following How To Activate I would suggest reading. You may also need to contact Pablo regarding this at the following order@pablosoftwaresolutions.com Please note that it will be tomorrow before a reply can be answered.

Maybe your firewall is blocking the connection for webbuilder.exe?
If you can access the server via the browser then it should also be possible via the software.
