Icon Libraries

Post by mfirlotte »

I've just purchased and install WYSIWYG 17. Am now trying to install the Icon Libraries.

I extract and run "SETUP.EXE" then near the end of the install, it seems to get stuck at "Registering Fonts" step then after a few minutes the install freezes and I get "Program Not Responding" and have to forcibly shut it down. All 4 libraries do the same thing.

The new setups should not be registering the fonts. It only copies the files to the specified older. Which setups are you using?
I have tried on my computer but do not get this message.

Pablo I can too confirm this issue.

I noticed you are using Setup Factory for these. could be that SF automatically has the "Register Font" option ON when adding a ttf or similar file?

At the moment I do not know why this happens for you because I am sure the option is off in the configuration...
I may be time to look for another installer...

Anyway, you can also copy the files manually:
http://downloads.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/ ... _icons.zip
http://downloads.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/ ... tlined.zip
http://downloads.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/ ... _round.zip
http://downloads.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/ ... _sharp.zip

Perfect! I don't personally think it is a difficult job to unzip these in a specific directory. Any reason they are not part of WWB's installer?

The files should be copied to:
\Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system\iconlibraries

I have updated the setup files for the new icons. They are now using Inno Setup and have been digitally signed.
Maybe someone can try it this works better?

http://downloads.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/wwb_materialiconsoutlined.zip
http://downloads.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/wwb_materialiconsround.zip
http://downloads.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/wwb_materialiconssharp.zip

FontAwesome 5 updates (for WWB17 only!):

http://downloads.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/wwb_faregular.zip
http://downloads.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/wwb_fasolid.zip

Note:
If you have already installed the icons then you may need to restart your computer before running the setup, otherwise the font files may be in locked/read-only.

Hi Pablo. I tried the new ZIPs for BootStrap and MaterialIconsOutlined and I get download errors saying, "Can't be downloaded securely". I use Microsoft Edge and the previous versions downloaded with no issues other than the original registering of the fonts issue (but I then used the manual versions you provided).

The link are not https because they are on a sub domain (which would require a separate certificate)
However, the links safe (and they are the same as before).
