I have some text I want to put a shadow behind, but the text is just not taking the style I've assigned it. I've tried many different ways, but no of them take. What am I missing?

Where exactly in your project so I need to look?
Important note:
When you share a project, can you please remove all pages and elements that are not relevant to your question?
Also, remove all extensions uses in the project.
