The style option the properties, sets the style of the text's container not the characters.
To set the style of the characters you will have to select / highlight the text and then apply the style.

I am sure Pablo will also reply to this. You are free to test the "Software" for 30 days after which your are required to purchase to continue using. While using the trial version no support is offered as the "Forum" is for registered "Users" (Paid) only.
