Spell Checker

Post by bubblegumweb »

Hi, I have download the spell checker extension and added it to the system folder "Extensions". To use the spell checker it says press f7 but when I do nothing happens. I have the latest version of WYSIWYG and I am running windows 7. How do you get the spell checker to work? I can not find it anywhere in the menu tabs?

Thanks.

I have just checked that the spell checker extension has been installed and it is showing as yes. However, it also shows that this extension is deprecated and to use the BUIT IN SPELL CHECKER? Can someone please tell me how to use the built-in spell checker in WYSIWYG latest version, please?

The spell checker extension has been deprecated because it is not 64bit and does not support Unicode.
it has been replaced by the standard Windows spell checker. However, this requires Windows 8 or newer. Windows 7 does not have spell checker functionality.
