Fonts double space

Post by janez72 »

I have installed some new fonts.
Two - Poppins and Lobster - make double spaces.
It does not help to press shift+enter.
And I tried every setting inside WYSIWYG, nothing works.
All other fonts work normal on the same text.

Any ideas?
Do I have to edit the font? Any good editors online?

It is possible that the font is not compatible with Direct2D.
In this case, this may help:

Note that this is not directly related to WWB, The software treats all fonts the same way.

Yes, 2D rendering had to be switched off. Now, fonts are working normally.

What are benefits of 2D? What do I loose by turning it off?
Visually, I see no difference in previewed page.

What are benefits of 2D?
The benefits of Direct2D is that it is rendering faster on modern computers because it uses hardware acceleration.
