Scroll Transitions

Post by justin b »

Hi Pablo

Do you have the demo files templates for these scroll transitions?

Bar in then fixed
Gradient
Parellax and transformrotate?

Is it possible to have an object to do a semi-circle transition?

I am trying to learn the theory behind all of this or should I wait till Ver16 and see if there is a more intuitive way at doing all of this, like with an auto keyframe system.....nudge nudge?

P.S Pablo nobody in the tutorial sector does this software justice so is there any chance you doing a book for this software showing your deeper and insightful understanding using a physical format?

Thanks

There are currently no templates to demonstrate all possible options, because basically the possibilities are endless...

But this may be helpful (demo project included)

Thanks Pablo

i have that one.

When doing the additional keys i am unsure of whether the sequence is top to bottom or bottom to top. How to calculate pixel position from start point e.t.c. Would you say that if i study all the stuff you have available to do with Scroll Animation that i should be able to understand it fully and without reservation?

I was hoping that all i would need to do was move object from one point to the other to make key frame points and avoid using a calculator. Maybe Version17 will be the next step in this direction.

The demo project also include examples to demonstrate background color animation, make an object 'fly-in' at a different speed as the rest of the content and how to implement a parallax effect using scroll transitions.

This link only shows one demo and not all of the above. Is that correct because it appears to indicate projects and not a project?

After extraction

1 folder with 3 images
1 WTP file of square object rising with opacity :scrolltransitions

No other examples or references to the above demos.

If you can find the time Pablo and i, to be honest, am certain there must be 10 of you with all the work you do and at the same time manage to keep 10 out of 10 support for users, can you do a further 20 or so examples of scroll transitions? The ones you have done so far have left me asking other questions. For example, The Reveal template used Top and Bottom top as two different offsets which I would never have guessed at all.

Note that this is not a template, it is a normal project.
The project contains all examples in 7 pages.

At the moment I do not have any free time to create more examples.
But there are also several templates that use scroll transitions:
