Help "attempted to access an unnamed file past its end"

Post by Rick »

Hi

I'm new and just purchased WYSIWYG Web Builder 15.4.2 (Jun 7,202)

Downloaded templates from the WYSIWYG Web Builder site. I tried to create a new site using "New from Template." I'm getting an error msg "attempted to access an unnamed file past its end" Then the program show me only one template.

I closed the program and opened multiple times. I restarted the computer and turn it off multiple times, no luck.

Error Message https://www.dropbox.com/s/bdxht1er7xdid ... d.JPG?dl=0
One Template https://www.dropbox.com/s/adb0rqc2985wt ... e.JPG?dl=0

Please, any help is most appreciated

Thank you and best regards,

Ricardo

Maybe there are other files in the template folder which are not templates?
The folder should only have template files (.wtp)

" I'm getting an error msg "attempted to access an unnamed file past its end"
Other than what Pablo has mentioned do you have the correct permissions to use i.e. run as Administrator? or it may be that the file is corrupted. I would ensure you have the correct permissions and that the file isn't corrupted and try again.

Thank you for your reply. I did run the program as admin, still didn't work. Thank you again. Best regards Ricardo

Hi Rick,
I saw this post when you put it up originally and recall that I had the same error, but couldn't remember under what circumstances.

I've now rediscovered those circumstances.

Open up an old version of WB (version 12) and attempted to copy an image into a WB15 project. I appreciate that you are new and won't have old versions but thought I'd post this in case it tweeks yours or somebody else's brain.
Yours truly
