auto responder

Post by kenderuiter »

Hi,

I am using a form with 'Auto responder' functionallity.

Because I used the 'Plain Text' option, it did not show characters like ü correctly in the response e-mailmessage.
Somewhere on the WWB forum I found information about the option 'HTML' or 'Rich Text' in the auto responder window, I thought this could solve the umlaut problem so i tried it.

As a result (with 'HTML' but also with 'Rich Text') the browser could not show the page anymore.
Instead, the browser gave the following message (translated)

This page does not work:
www.mitzy.nl currently cannot proces this request
HTTP ERROR 500

Could you tell me whether I am doing something wrong or if this is an issue in WWB?

Kind regards,
Ken

This indicates that there is an error in the settings.

Note that for the form to accept Unicode characters you will have to set 'accept char-set' to UTF-8

Have you set the form to use UTF-8 ? The following HTTP ERROR 500 is a server issue and not related to the program. It simply means that the server is busy at the moment you will find that it usually returns to normal in a hour or two.
