15.2.2 ver. Shape opacity and Text distortion

Post by CharlesAr »

In version 15 and up when a shape background opacity is set on any parameter other than 100%, it causes in-shape Text distortion with artifacts.

If you set the output format of the text to 'HTML' then the text will be exported as standard text.
Using 'default' will give the same results as in previous versions.

Thanks for replying, but I tried all 3 options (default, HTML, and anti-alias) and no one fixed that. The text has a white snowy background which covers the text and it cannot be seen. Once I put the shape's background opacity to 100 that snowy white text background disappears.

Maybe there is an issue with your browser?
Because if you publish the text as HTML then the browser will dertermine the quality of the text.

Do you have a demo project?
What does it looks like for you?

When I publish it looks fine. The issue is on the project screen. Here is the screenshot:

I was not able to reproduce this behavior. For me, it works correct.
Maybe it's related to your graphics card or video drivers?
Do you have an other computer you can try it on so we can be sure it's not just an issue of your computer?
Or else can you share a demo project so I can see all you settings?

I will definitely try it on other machine and let you know how it is. But just want to say that there haven't been this issue found on the same machine with version 12. It was working flawlessly.

As it hasn't been asked yet what version of Windows do you have installed? If Windows 7 have you install Direct2d support? If not then see the following:
https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/forum ... 10&t=86373

Do you have the latest update of the software 15.2.2 (32-bit /64-bit) installed see the following
