Fresh start with clean boot this morning.
Still having the problem with text ... cannot type a small letter t ... capital T works.
Never encountered this before.
Win 7 64 bit.
I initially downloaded from the link in the email with activation number. ( but did not install )
Downloaded and installed the 15x64 version from website. ( approx 2 mb difference in file size )
Really like the program, just trying to get it to work on my computer.

You should be able to type any text. The built-in text editor is a standard Windows functionality (like in WordPad).
Maybe there is something wrong wit your DPI setting?

Un-installed the 15x64 version.
Installed version not named 15x64 and the text editor is working normal.
