Hi,
Is there a good PDF viewer extension available (or however best phrased)? I could simply upload the PDF I have in mind, and its URL ending with .pdf, but I wondered if there were a more elegant way of displaying this?
Thank you,
DC

Re: PDF viewer ?
Sorry there is no extension for this it will require a custom script or third party script
Maybe one of the following scripts could be used.

http://www.turnjs.com
http://www.pageflip-books.com
http://www.youblisher.com
https://www.flowpaper.com

Re: PDF viewer ?
Hi Mr Fries,
Thank you for this, though I tend to shudder at the idea of scripts and I can't even tell which one of the ones you suggested I can simply go ahead and use (read: free).
If I may just relay my limited thinking, and you correct me from here. Now I can upload the PDF directly to my server, and as a URL it would have a .pdf ending. In all fairness, as previously said, I am not unhappy with this as it would open in another browser by way of a simple thumbnail. But it's not an elegant, in-page solution. Which of the solutions you suggest can I simply insert the appropriate script into, presumably into the Page HTML function?
Thank you,
DC

Re: PDF viewer ?
Correct, see the following Links Although it not the most glamorous it is the easiest as no knowledge of using scripts is needed. The last url describes how toNow I can upload the PDF directly to my server, and as a URL it would have a .pdf ending
embed a PDF into a webpage and display it for you a bit more glamorous than just a link. All the links to the script would do what you need but it will need some knowledge on your part to use.
