Shopping Cart

Post by alex4orly »

I am looking for an extension to build a "Shopping Cart" for a charity organisation.
The page will have on it only a short list of items

Membership - Gold - $100
Membership - Silver - $50
Membership - Bronze - $20

Donations - $....

Raffle Tickets @ $xx - Quantity - drop down with : 1,5,10,20,50,100

And - a link to a payment gateway

Suggestion please

OH... It is my first attempt at this

I will need to engage with a Payment Gateway, or is that part of any of those extensions?

As you can see, I am confused about this

Cheers

Some solutions do have a payment gateway.

There is also a great free cart called Mals Ecommerce and it uses paypal as a gateway
https://www.mals-e.com/

I have also wrote some extensions for it as well and you can find them here
https://shop.grahamscomputers.net/webshop.html

If you look at the mals extension I have done you can see a demo of some of the carts. If you want a custom one I can also do that for you as well

Re: Shopping Cart. I like Ecwid and have it operating fine, however there does not seem to be a way of removing items from the shopping cart prior to purchase unless I am missing something. Thanks Ken

There is also a free script at PHPjabbers that might work for you...

what I am trying to do is sell books from a small museum site. Ecwid is working well, except when an item is added to the Cart it cannot be removed nor can the number of items be set to 0. So if a person has selected 10 different books for example and decides that they no longer want one of their selections then they have to start the whole process over again as they cannot remove the unwanted item.
Thanks
