using custom font in WB14

Post by bry » Fri Jun 22, 2018 1:50 am

Has 14 made it any easier to set up a custom font. I have a client who wants to use a custom font in the menu bar - which I have never done. Do I just add the CSS statements? It is a free font from 1001 fonts.

thanks

Hi bry, first you have to install the custom font to your OS (the .ttf would be good for this) then you should have generated webfonts from the custom font (at least .woff and .woff2). After that you have to install the fonts into your WWB project.
Enter the "Options" menu/Fonts/HTML section/ "Manually specify @font-face fonts/Manage/Add the fonts that you shall use.

If the font is available in "Google fonts" then it's also a easy option to install it through the Google fonts tool.

You do not manually have to add code. You can configure web fonts in Tools -> Options -> Fonts

See this related tutorial:
