using a basic paypal cart but...

Post by bry »

I was unable to get the state tax to be zero on all other states (but home state). I called paypal and they said it was because it was hard coded. So I had to download their button to fix. But I am curious why - even when I put in zero tax for each state - state by state.

Any clues? I have already switched to paypal buttons but just curious for future projects.

thanks

If you leave the tax field empty then the tax will not be set for the button.

oh! I wish I had known that. Thanks. Are you saying that the paypal setup will handle the tax if I leave the field empty???

Thanks, lesson learned. So in the Details tab, I leave the window called Tax: empty.
