Thanks, but why no audio? We don't all have 24-inch displays or 20-year old eyes.

Because a few years back me.prosenjeet was diagnosed with cancer of the throat, although recoverd his voice has never been the same hence no voice over. Note not al users in the forum are native english speakers another reason why some tutorials do not have voice over.

Thanks Bacon for the fact
By the way SteveMann, the video has a full screen option so if you view it that way it will be easier to follow.
Sorry for no voice over and Bacon did kindly explain my problem. I hope the tutorial comes handy even if I could not add audio to it.

SteveMann, there's no need to apologise. You were not aware of my handicap. :D

Is it possible to change the width of the blog? Now it is too small for me.
I think it's the problem with the html full.

It seems to me that the problem is the HTML full. I do't know how to change the width of that.
Maybe in phpblog.php?

Is verdergaan in Nederlands mogelijk? gaat me stukken beter af. ;)

You do not have to edit the HTML, the width of the object can be changed by moving the object handles.

Does anyone know how - once this blog is installed - the end-user (in this case, my client) will be able to ACCESS his blog and make posts? Is it some kind of a dashboard that he will log INTO? Or, does he have to access it through the same Wysiwyg Web Builder program that "I" used to create it?

If so, it's not really going to be "user-friendly" enough for my client to use.

Have you read the enclosed PDF and viewed the video tutorial? Please note that this is a user tutorial video so no official help is available on it, any help may come from the user who provided it and others wishing to help. But first carefully read all documentation and view the video carefully as this will give you a understanding on how to use.

Well, I think I am very close to getting the new blog tool to work and I appreciate being pointed to the tutorial. It was very helpful in getting this far.

I need a bit of help in getting it to work and if you feel inclined to help, I'm very grateful in advance.

Here is the link: http://www.compositeautomation.com/page1.html

I was able to get the confirmation that the database schema was created correctly.

1. Will the blog need a password to be accessed by the public?
2. Should I post the admin password here for any needed help? PM me at john at compositeautomation.com or here and I'll send it to you.
3. how do I fix the date?
4. Once I log in with the password, none of my test entries are displayed.
5. Recaptcha doesn't work.

I read through the PDF and watched the entire tutorial multiple times and followed everything step by step.

Hope you can fill in the missing pieces for me!

Thank you!!
John

1. Will the blog need a password to be accessed by the public?
No, it is only for the admin
2. Should I post the admin password here for any needed help? PM me at john at compositeautomation.com or here and I'll send it to you.
You may contact me here if you need further help with the WB blog: http://lucknowwebs.com/contact
3. how do I fix the date?
Did you try posting something new? It should pick the date on its own
4. Once I log in with the password, none of my test entries are displayed.
Are the test entries 'published'?
5. Recaptcha doesn't work.
Did you set it while installing?
