No lightbox options when inserting an image into a Card

Post by stephandierlamm »

Hi Pablo,

when I add a link to an image and select "open in a Light Box", I can select a lightbox from a drop-down menu under Settings.
When I use an image in a card, there is no drop-down menu at this point. So I can't select a lightbox.
Is this due to technical reasons? Or is there a workaround?

Kind regards

Stephan

The Card was designed as a lightweight widget. Therefor it does not support advanced feature like lightboxes because that would add a lot of weight (HTML, script ect) to the card.

You kind of can. What you do is when you add an image to the card.

Go to > Link
And the image you wish to load (when they click on the image on the card)

In the target Window you can choose a lightbox with settings.

I am using this for one projects at the moment and it works, However do not choose WEBP format as it will not show it correctly.

Hope this helps.
