Re: Device compatilbilty driving me mad!
You have to be sure that objects are actually in the layout grid. You can place a new text object, for example, in what looks to be inside the grid, but you usually have to grab the object and move it into the grid which will cause the grid borders to change color (on my system it is blue) and then ...

Re: Moving old outdated webpage to wysiwyg.
I used to be a Serif WebPlus user before moving to WWB a few years ago. The major difference to me was learning to use responsive layout objects instead of a true wysiwyg program like Serif. It was well worth the time it took to learn WWB. No more multiple layouts to accommodate phones or odd sized ...

There is some code to add to the htaccess file that forces http to use https on the server side. A quick workaround while you manually change them in WWB.

Thanks for this extension. Very useful. If I could make one suggestion for an addition to it I would ask for the option to change the day of the week to 3 letter abbreviations (Mon, Tue, etc.). If you create the .zip file backup (under the File menu in WWB) all of the assets will be included. And you can choose to upload your project to the server when you publish your website so it is recoverable from there.

You could make two layout grids, one with 3 columns and one with two and use the on click/toggle the grid you want to hide after the click. You could also make two grids with 3 columns but layout the one you want to show after the click to your liking. Kind of a rough work around but doable.

I think WWB assumes public_html as the root folder on your server, so when you set up the ftp connection in the publish section you shouldn't include that in the remote folder entry area.

That .4 upload speed would seem to indicate that some outbound traffic is occurring on startup that is slowing down the system. If it isn't WWB then the only thing left is some other program or the o.s. itself. What does the Windows task manager show you when WWB is starting?
