Re: form not working

@davehappen WYSIWYG is a very complex piece of software with a myriad of options for just about anything you want to do - this is driven by the 'professional' users who actually use it in their business of selling websites. The downside to this is that the more casual user can be overwelmed by all t...

Re: Master-page issue

Have you see this - https://dapsonishmeal.com/videos.html

This guy does some great tutorials for WYSIWYG - I have not checked if there is exactly what you need to know, but have a look - plenty to learn.

Re: open my website go's wrong

Could it be 'extension' problem(s) ?

Sometimes. if WWB15 is installed in a different location, you may need to reinstall any extensions in 15 that you used in your previous project(s) for those pages to work correctly.

Just a thought .......

This is something that should really be part of the standard program (or something similar) - sell it to Pablo :D

Re: Publishing is w/ Namecheap

@bkjohns That's what I do - if i try to publish full website from within WYSIWYG the program very often locks up and has done for some time. I found if i publish locally and use Filezilla I don't have any problems and I also have a complete copy on my hard drive as a backup so not all bad. I should ...

Tooltip

When I add a tooltip to an item (in this case an image) and i do a preview the tip appears as expected, above the image. But when published and viewed on the website the tooltip appears in a bar the full width of the screen. I cannot see any setting which dictates this behaviour ? BTW - I have only ...

Re: ipad display

Some Of your pages on my iPad are wider than the screen as well.

‘Stop Press’ is too wide until I tap the screen and ‘Just fun’ displays correctly (there are others)

Worth checking your settings for these 2 pages and see if you can find any differences.

Re: download a WB15-Site to the computer to get a *.wbs - file?

This might be worth a try - really depends how complex your website is. Create a new local folder. Use an ftp program such as 'Filezilla' (or similar) to copy all files from your web host server into your new folder on your local PC/Laptop. Open WYSIWYG and as Pablo says - use 'Import HTML' to load ...

Link colour ...

The links on my webpages are currently a dark blue colour. The website background is black so the links are very hard to see. I have changed the settings in page properties/styles/links to brighter colours but it does not effect/update the webpage. I used the 'publish all files' option during the up...

Re: Saved to new folder

That’s fine .... on my local pc I wanted all the project files in one folder .... by combining save (which only saved the images and .wbs to open) & publish ( which saved the actual web pages for the project) to this location I can now see everything together.

Re: Saved to new folder

That seems to have worked. Everything seems to be in one place now.

Another quick question - why does it save 2 copies of the images, 1 in /images and 1 in a sub folder it creates of the same name as the project ?
( Not a new thing I know but just curious )

Re: Saved to new folder

Thought that had worked but it didn’t save the pages of the website to the new folder.

I am now ‘publishing’ as well to see if the two operations combined give me what I want.

Re: Saved to new folder

I am publishing .... but it loses location of the images for some reason. If I look in the published location the images are there.

I will try ‘saving’
