Re: redirect to https

Nope, sorry, not quite getting it. I've created a text file, c&p the code, closed the file, and manually renamed it ".htaccess" (and therefore it reads ".htaccess.txt"). Your next set of instructions are not clear to me. Am I supposed to add the code directly somewhere (in which case why would I nee...

Re: redirect to https

Hi all,

And thank you, though this is over my head as currently presented. May I ask for a step-by-step guide?

redirect to https

Hi, I have my site built with WB14 - www.theavenuemotionpicturecompany.com - and have now purchased through my server an SSL certificate. It is configured correctly at their end, but to redirect from http to https somehow I need some kind of plug-in/instruction on what to do. I really do not know an...

Re: anchoring in pictures within texts

Hi,

I ended up using Article from the tool box, in basic mode. It does the trick very nice.

anchoring in pictures within texts

Hi,

Because different browsers tend to display pages differently (and often load wonky) is there a method to 'anchor' (or however best described) a picture within a text box?

Re: OG image selection

I think that's resolved the issue, albeit now there is a new issue with images having white spaces in their file name. That's a lot of work to correct.

Re: OG image selection

Nope, sorry - I simply have no clue what is wrong here. The Open Graph Meta Tags currectly reads: Title: The Avenue Motion Picture Company - Home Description: The East Midlands Premier Video Production Company. Offices also in London. 25 years serving clients media promotional needs. Image: [the Jpe...

OG image selection

Hi, I'm sure this is a standard query, but in using the "Open Graph Meta Tags" the image selected is not the one showing up in Facebook Debugger. The invalid error reads, "The given value 'www.theavenuemotionpicturecompany.com/the-fool.html' for property 'og:url' was not a valid absolute URL." Havin...

Re: page HTML head tag

Thank you. Is it simply a case of pasting in the new code above and leaving a blank line-space in between these two bits of code?

page HTML head tag

Hi, A few months ago I contacted this forum regarding a Captcha issue. In short, when testing on an iPad there was an issue with the display of text within Captcha form itself. This issue was successfully resolved by incorporating the following code within Head Tags tab. <style> #Captcha2 { line-hei...

Re: photo extension allowing for zoom in

Hi RiaanN - yep, this is definitely the sort of thing I'm looking for. So how to install (or however best phrased)? I'm not a coder, and at first glance this appears to be an 'add HTML' to the Page HTML Properties installation. Is this correct? Which tab to install it in? And anything else to know? D.

photo extension allowing for zoom in

Hi, Currently I am using the Fotorama extension for including JPEGs, as I like the design lay-out and ultimately the way it displays. However, it doesn't have a zoom-in function (at least I cannot tell), and wondered if there is an extension that allows the user to zoom in on an image. I am displayi...

Re: YouTube subs

Hi,

After playing around, I think it's simply add a "... ?sub_confirmation=1 ..." to the end of your YT channel URL, then c&p this into your object's (in my case FontAwesome icon) link field.

Re: YouTube subs

A different question, in the Twitter Cards form within metatags, is: a) there a difference between "Summary" and "Summary with large image"? In context, what is a large image? And b) is the "Site" field to be filled with a specific URL or simple your site's home page?
